Compliance and Adherence to the Modern Slavery Act 2015
Relocon ta The Weave Limited is fully committed to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and to ensuring there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chains.
Our commitment
Relocon ta The Weave Limited has a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking. The company is committed to acting ethically and with integrity
in all business relationships and to implementing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place in our own operations or in any of our supply chains.
Our business and supply chains
Relocon ta The Weave Limited is a UK-based company providing advisory, education and support services to founders, startups and small businesses. Our supply chains are primarily composed of professional services and technology providers, including (but not limited to) software platforms, coworking or event spaces, and specialist consultants or contractors. Although the nature of our business generally makes us low risk for modern slavery, we recognise that risks can arise indirectly through global technology, facilities, and outsourced service supply chains.
Policies and due diligence
• The company prohibits the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labour, or anyone held in slavery or servitude, whether adults or children, in any part of our business or supply chains.
• We expect all those who work with us, or on our behalf, to share our commitment and to comply with all applicable laws, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
• Where proportionate and relevant, we will conduct due diligence on key suppliers and partners, focusing on ethical employment practices, right-to-work checks, and commitments to preventing modern slavery in their own operations and supply chains.
• Contractual terms with suppliers may include requirements to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, to maintain appropriate policies and procedures, and to notify us of any actual or suspected modern slavery issues.
Risk assessment, reporting and training
• We will keep our assessment of modern slavery risks under review, with particular attention to new or changing suppliers, countries of operation, and categories of services that may present higher risk.
• Employees, contractors and other stakeholders are encouraged to raise concerns about any issue or suspicion of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chains; concerns can be raised confidentially with a director or via any designated reporting channel, and will be taken seriously and investigated as appropriate.
• Where relevant to roles, we will provide awareness-raising or training so that people working with us can recognise indicators of modern slavery and understand how to escalate concerns.
Responsibilities and review
Overall responsibility for this policy and for ensuring compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 rests with the board of directors of Relocon ta The Weave Limited. Management at all levels are responsible for ensuring those reporting to them understand and comply with this policy and are given adequate and regular guidance
on the issue of modern slavery.
This statement and policy will be reviewed at least annually and updated as appropriate to reflect our activities, our supply chains and any changes in legislation or official guidance
